Philosophy
The only way to learn is by doing. Think of tennis. You can watch professional tennis players on television for years but when it comes to actually playing tennis, all the watching is meaningless. It's very difficult to hit the ball in play even though you've watched people do it thousands of times.
Learning is the same across all disciplines. Math, writing, physics, tennis...it's all the same thing. You have to DO in order to learn. This is why all those practice math problems are important. This is why teachers assign all those "meaningless" papers.
This is the philosophy at Grasshopper Tutors. We will guide you and question you as you do the work yourself. This method leads to increased confidence in the student and higher performance overall.
